About us

Based in Kent we offer businesses across the UK food sector offering tailored practical solutions in meeting quality standards.

Established in 2000, Food Safety Assist brings together the skills of Brian Humphreys and Lynn Brown. Brian’s he has worked at major supermarkets and suppliers/producers, giving him a strong oversight of all parts of the industry and common problems that can occur.

Lynn has worked extensively in personal, team and company mentoring and consultation up to corporate board level and provides the expert application of Brian’s knowledge.

We regularly with other experienced associates called in as required on a project by project basis.

We deliver our work in a bespoke way at every level; from the planning and content all the way through to one-on-one communication, we aim to be informal and approachable to really open up opinions and ideas across client companies from boardroom all the way to shop floor.

Food Safety Assist is a Registered Training Centre of the Royal Institute of Public Health and a full member of the Society of Food Hygiene and Technology. Our fully qualified and experienced team are highly experienced in legislation including BRC, Salsa, CMI and Efsis; we make sure we’re the experts across the board.
