Brian Humphreys

Food Safety Consultant & Director

Brian has 20 years experience as a food safety consultant within the food industry. Previously having worked for retailer Sainsbury’s as a food technologist. Since setting up Food Safety Assist, he has managed/delivered projects in a wide range of sectors from meat, dairy, organics, fresh produce, bakery, warehousing and transport at SALSA and BRC level. With an excellent knowledge of all the various food safety standards Brian is:

  • A trained Lead Auditor
  • SALSA mentor and auditor
  • IFST approved auditor and mentor
  • Current member of Standard Working Group for SALSA, involved in re-writing and reviewing the latest audit standard.

Lynn Brown

Managing Director

Lynn has a background in management and information technology. She is responsible for the running of the company, ensuring that decisions are made and the business keeps on track.

Hannah Jackson, Associate Consultant

Associate Consultant

Hannah joined us in 2018 bringing with her a strong technical background spread across varies fields from dairy to sushi, fresh produce and many more. She is experienced in auditing across a wide range of sectors within food manufacturing to SALSA, BRC and Retailer Standards. Hannah assists us with Interim Technical Management, Food Safety Training and assists with SALSA and other Food Safety Accreditations.

When she isn’t working with Food Safety Assist she is enjoying her many hobbies including kickboxing, cooking and spending time with her family.

Aditi Zutshi, Associate Consultant

 

Aditi is a highly qualified and competent health & food safety professional. She has over a decade of wide-ranging experience in the food industry gained in food manufacturing, airline catering, contract catering and hospitality. Her approach is pragmatic and practical, and she has a real passion for training and engaging with people. Her qualifications are BSc Microbiology, MSc Food Science, NEBOSH certificate Accredited Associate CIEH, Associate IFST, Fellow RSPH

Aditi is a certified ISO9001:2008 Lead Auditor and has extensive experience in auditing and corrective action implementation. She is also proficient in setting up and maintaining Primary Authority Partnerships and dealing with Environmental Health Officers.
