You have seen pictures of all our Consultants at work but this is what they actually do. This week, our Head Consultant, Brian Humphreys has been doing classroom-based food safety training. We do not do this often as online training is more popular. However, a tailored Level 2 Food safety course proved that group discussions and shared experiences at one company really was of benefit to all involved. Training staff is a key part of promoting a continuous food safety culture. It is essential for passing and maintaining BRC and SALSA Certification. Training records must be kept and will form part of the annual BRC Audit or SALSA Audit.
Brian is also a SALSA Accreditation mentor and auditor so this week, he visited a brewery to carry out a SALSA Beer audit. If you want to stand out in a crowded craft beer market, this accreditation could be something to consider. Find out more about SALSA
Our Associate Consultants have also been supporting clients this week, Hannah has been on site assisting a client with the transition of their Food Safety Systems from SALSA to BRC Food Safety, whilst Aditi has been remotely supporting a client with their HACCP systems.
