New standard has now been released for SALSA accreditation
As of the 22nd June 2018, SALSA (Safe And Local Supplier Approval) have released a new version of their accreditation requirements. The new issue contains a number of changes which are intended to enhance the existing Standard and reflect current industry best practice. Thus helping food manufacturers systems work to their best and assist in providing a safe product. The new standard will be audited against from the 3rd September 2018 onwards.
As food safety consultants we help a variety of food producers with their food safety systems; assisting in bringing standards up to standard ahead of audits, as well as maintaining the standard throughout the year. As well as this we also step in to do internal audits against the SALSA standard, to give the company an idea on how they measure against the standard before an actual audit.
