SALSA Go! Get ready for Accreditation

A food safety standard can be daunting to prepare for and pass. Therefore, Salsa certification body has introduced this scheme to help smaller food companies prepare for accreditation in a structured way.

To Summarize, this membership helps businesses with these supported steps:

  • Welcome and Induction to the whole scheme.
  • Self- Assessment Questionnaire, review and phone call.
  • SALSA Mentoring session. A full day visit to your site. Gap Analysis and HACCP Evaluation.
  • Action Plan. Your own plan to get your business approval.
  • Planning the Audit Day

A SALSA approved mentor carries out the Gap Analysis and other system evaluations, such as, the HACCP plan.

Our food safety consultants are SALSA mentors.

The Gap Analysis is the basis of the project plan, Above all it should be easy to read and understand.
